How To Use Your Suncatcher Kit

Everyone love’s crystal suncatcher watching the rainbow colours dancing across the walls as the sun shines through the window is a real mood lifter.

Our suncatcher kit means you can design a minimum of 4 suncatchers and still have some of the rings and pins left over to make more if you wish to purchase more crystals and they are really easy to make.

Included in the kit are crystals with just one pin hole, these are the bottom pendant and a selection of crystals with 2 pin holes, these make up the strands.
Decide which crystals you want to include in your suncatcher, the design is unique to you.

Take one x 2 pin hole crystal to use as the starting crystal, the top pin hole is used for suspending the suncatcher – this is easier to do last so we will come back to that.

Using the rings join the first crystal, via the second pin hole, to the next crystal in your design, the rings open up are fed through the pin holes.
The rings can be opened either with your fingers or using round nosed pliers.

Continue joining the crystals in this way until you have made up your crystal strand.

Take one of the gold pins and insert this through the top pin hole on your starter crystal with the pin head showing on the front side of your suncatcher. Bend the pin up and then curve over to form a hook to suspend your suncatcher*

Holding the suncatcher up you can see if any of the crystals or rings need slight adjustment to straighten and allow the suncatcher to hang correctly.

*You may wish to hang your suncatcher lower in which case you can use a thin cord or wire instead of the pin

**The pins can also be used to join the crystals if you wish – visit YouTube and check Kings Chandeliers How To Pin Your Chandelier Crystals video
